A Note from Brandon & Autumn: Our Next Chapter

Autumn and Brandon, owners of Southwest Endurance TrainingIn 2018, Jeanne and Pete Snell blessed us with the opportunity to acquire Southwest Endurance Training when they were ready to move on to their next entrepreneurial challenge. We were handed something incredibly special — a community of runners with heart, grit, and dedication. Taking over SWET was one of the greatest honors of our lives, and growing SWET into the family it is today has been more rewarding than we ever imagined.

Opportunity has struck again, but with mixed emotions this time. In his day job, Brandon has been selected to open and lead a brand-new facility that will move our family to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2027. As we look ahead to this new chapter, we’ve made the decision that this December will mark the end of our time as the owners and head coaches of SWET.

Our final training groups will be:

  • STaT — beginning in June
  • Marathon Training — beginning in July (training for the Garmin Tucson Marathon, 11/8)
  • 10K to 13.1 Training Group — beginning in late August (training for the Garmin Tucson Half & 10K, 11/8)
  • Running Start 5K — beginning in October (in partnership with the JCC, training for the Hanukkah Hot Cocoa 5k, 12/6)

We would love nothing more than to lace up one last time with every runner who has ever been part of the SWET family — old friends, former training partners, and everyone in between. True to what SWET is, we also want one last chance to welcome new runners trying out this sport for the first time or challenging themselves to run that next distance. If ever there was a time to (re)join a SWET training group, it is now!

Thank you for eight incredible years. YOU are the reason we love this sport.

With gratitude,
Autumn & Brandon
