Why I enjoy coaching:

Having run for years I have always wanted to share the joy of running with other people. Through this group I have met many good friends and have helped others to realize that you can reach your goals and make it fun at the same time.

My favorite coaching moment:

To see others reach their goals and continue to become better runners.

What motivates me to run:

I love to run to get exercise, manage my stress levels and to just maintain good health. In 2010 I was diagnosed with a blood clot in my left leg. This left me unable to run for quite a few months. I always look back at that time and remember how bummed I was that I couldn’t run. So, to this day I always think about that time period. It motivates me every time to get up and go.

My proudest personal achievement:

Moving across the country to a town where I knew no one. This was five years ago when I moved to Tucson. I joined the SWET group and got to meet and run with some great people and great runners. Since that time, I have continued to run and meet new people and help them accomplish their goals.
